The movie started which makes me look forward to understand why it has to be started that way. All throughout the movie, I’m expecting to understand the origin of the Parasytes but what was shown was more of the effects of its existence. I’m trying to understand the connection between the first statements uttered in the movie and the Parasytes’ existence but I got nothing.
I thought that part 1 was set to build up the story for part 2 of the Parasyte but then it should stand alone which it didn’t. There was no moral lesson shown in the movie as well or if it has, then it should have been given emphasis to show importance.
Shinichi and Migi somehow spice up the movie. Migi added humor to the sci-fi or horror film which makes it amusing . And Shinichi with just his face is enough but his acts are amazing. He was able to portray such character and you’ll see the movie is growing from little to more violent acts.
By the end, with the dramatic climax, my emotional migraine had subsided. It's the abridged, muted, and emotionally empty shell of what it could have been. The creative changes rob the story of its substance and while it may be cool to see bladed tentacle-headed creatures duke it out, it's really not worth the mincemeat that is the plot.
