Philippine Media & The Millennals

Last January 29 2016, we're having a seminar with our speaker kuya Toni about the "Philippine Media & The Millennals". The first that I watch about the Nonoy Aquino and Ferdinand Marcos and the second scene is about "Democracy" that is Corazon Aquino. Kuya Toni discussed the Digital Millennials whether 3.5 out of 10 Filipinos are online but it depends of the percentage of their age. Also, he talks about the social media post like Facebook post, selfie post, trending post and the foreign post like video blog and citizen journalism. Media consumption in the Philippines is showing how Filipinos today favor screen-based media. Television is at the peak of the country's media landscape, followed by mobile, outdoor, the Internet and radio.

Journalism is the public trust in a public service. The media is the fourth estate in a link between the private and public sections that has the power to set the agenda. Being a Advocacy Journalism is to increase the awareness on certain issues, raise awareness and spark public disclosure. Just like the topic about the Women's Rights and the Typhoon Yolanda. The topic the I really know is about the Women Rights. Feminism is the struggle against the patriarchy, the dominance hierarchies that have defined global culture for all of recorded history. For this reason, it has traditionally been and will probably long remain the centerpiece of all civil liberties reform. For being a better prosumers of media are : Stay well informed and well rounded, Be an intelligent producer consumer, Stay relevant, Maintain sensitive and think of your kapwa.

At the end of the seminar, some students of ABMA, SOE and students in other schools asked questions about whether related of the topic or his life. I'm so glad that we're understand that kuya toni discussed the inportants about the "Philippine Media & The Millennals".
